JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT/MINI-SQUAD PROGRAM
This follows on from the learn to swim program. This program is designed for simmers who are competent at swimming a length of the main pool and who want to progress their skills. As well as stroke development they are taught starts and turns and are encouraged to enter competitions.
GENERAL FITNESS GROUP
The fitness program is for all ages and levels with the emphasis on improving individual fitness at each swimmers own pace and speed. This is a fun group and is often attended by young water polo players wanting to build their fitness up but not want to be a competitive swimmer and by parents of squad and term swimmers.
COMPETITIVE SQUAD PROGRAM
Team ONE offers a competitive squad team. The competitive swimming season runs from May to March. The starting age is around 8 years and term swimmers are most welcome to apply to join a squad. The squad swimmers are expected to attend regularly and participate in interclub competitive carnivals. The emphasis is placed on both excelling through professional technique and fitness training and of course, team spirit. Squads have swimmers from term swimmer level through to National Level.
